Dr. Akriti Jain works as a Post-Doctoral Associate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Prior to joining IISc, she worked as a Fellow at the CUTS Institute for Regulation and Competition, New Delhi to research on promoting innovation and competition for efficient use of Intellectual Property (IP) in India. She holds a doctorate degree in Management of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – Delhi, India. Previously, she held several positions for teaching and corporate communication in Science and Technology institutes in Delhi NCR. She holds a Master’s and a Bachler’s degree in Business Administration from India. Research Focus: IPRs and sustainability, Technology transfer and knowledge spill-over, Economic of public and industrial R&D Experience: Key experience in research project management, statistical analysis (inferential & descriptive), and econometric modelling (cross-section, time-series and panel data), teaching and corporate communication. Research experience in IPRs and entrepreneurship, Innovation and competition regulation, economics of IPRs for public and private funded institutes in India.
