As communication strategist with medical background and journalistic experience, I am interested to do research in the area of health communication, public relations, crisis communication, media (and social media), as well as issues related to behavioral sciences.

A long-time journalist with medical background, I have served as program communication officer and consultant for Communication for Development (C4D) at UNICEF Indonesia. With two decades of international experience in business management, government and public relations, education / training, and media, I have broadened my views on socio-political, health, economic and development trends and issues through works in non-profit organizations such as Australia AID, and Germany’s Particip GmbH. Formerly acted as Director for Marketing & Public Relations in a private university in Jakarta, I gained MA in Journalism from University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. My journalistic background in Australia and Indonesia has been enriched, for instance, by leadership experience when acting as the Branch Development head of Indonesian Public Relations Association.
